Hosted by Isabel De La Cruz, Director of Public Relations and Community Engagement, Off The Cuff gives viewers an opportunity to hear from Dr. Cuff in a relaxed and conversational setting while learning more about what is happening throughout Brownsville ISD.
The podcast’s name is a playful nod to Dr. Cuff while also capturing the spirit of the show. Each approximately 15-minute episode is guided by timely topics and questions, but the conversation is designed to flow naturally, allowing Dr. Cuff to share his thoughts, experiences, and perspective in a way viewers may not always get to see during more formal district settings.
Topics can range from district initiatives, campus life, and upcoming events to education, community partnerships, and issues important to BISD students, employees, and families. The conversation also makes room for lighter moments and questions that allow the BISD community to get to know Dr. Cuff beyond his role as superintendent.
Through Off The Cuff, BISD hopes to create another avenue for open communication and connection while keeping the community informed about the people, programs, and initiatives moving the district forward.
Most importantly, the podcast is meant to feel like a conversation — informative, genuine, and engaging.
